Yes, I’m the person who smiles in the “before” picture...

Well, today marks my first official diet day! I woke up ready to start the day with my first documented weigh-in.

You’ve heard that saying before; you never ask a woman her age or weight... GULP..... LONG PAUSE.... I’m 32 years old and today when I stepped on my scale, I weighed 379.3 pounds. (crickets). In all of that transparent glory, writing this down publicly makes me cringe and want to hide under a rock for the next 20 years.... At the same time, this is where I am and for nothing else but keeping me honest, this is where my journey begins.

Behold the much anticipated (unfiltered), “Before” picture. This is me, all 379.3 pounds of me. Yes, I am the person who smiles in the before picture. I have SO much to smile about, I may be big, but people, let me tell you, I am blessed! I feel supported beyond measure with my amazing husband and a group of some of the most wonderful friends, who have all decided to walk these next two weeks in my shoes, diet and all!

***Shout out to some true MVPs***

If there was any advice to give, it would be to find a group of people to support you. I know this is just the beginning for me, but already those texts, private messages, emails and calls have

made all the difference.

Okay, so I promise not to overload everyone daily. I plan to update when there is an update to give and keep it real. Today I feel great, tomorrow who knows, but what I do know is... I’m freaking ready to see that scale number drop lower than ever before!
